Meet Our Team
Dr. Ty Bennett, DMD
Dr. Ty Bennett is from Waycross, GA. Dr. Bennett became interested in dentistry during high school; he was inspired by the opportunity that the dental profession offered to both serve his community and help people with their smiles. After earning his degree in Biology at Georgia College & State University, Dr. Bennett worked as a biology teacher at Washington County High School for a year. He continued his path to becoming a dentist and completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta.
Following dental school, Dr. Bennett moved back to the Waycross area and joined Dr. Keith Crummey in practice at Dental Care Associates of South Georgia in 2023. He provides family and cosmetic dental care for our patients, including smile reconstruction with dental crowns and veneers. Dr. Bennett met his wife Ashley during dental school. They have two sons and one daughter, Carter, Parker and Briar. They love spending time together as a family and attend the First Baptist Church of Blackshear. Dr. Bennett enjoys fishing, hunting and golfing with his dad. He is a huge fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and travels to Athens frequently during football season to cheer them on.
Dr. Keith Crummey, DMD
Dr. Keith Crummey is from Kingsland, GA. He received his dental training from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in Augusta. After graduating in 1984, he returned to South Georgia to begin private practice in Waycross. Dr. Crummey specializes in oral sedation and implants. He returned to South Georgia after graduation to begin private practice in Waycross in 1984.
Dr. Crummey's professional memberships include the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, International College of Dentists, International Dental Implant Association, Georgia Academy of Dental Practice and Pierre Fauchard Academy. He has received an Honorable Fellowship award from the Georgia Dental Association. As a comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dentist, Dr. Crummey has completed hundreds of hours of advanced professional education in all aspects of dentistry, including oral conscious sedation, dental implants, oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Crummey and his wife Jennifer recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. They have three adult children and four grandchildren. His favorite pastimes include kayaking and gardening.
