Dr. Crummey is from Kingsland, Georgia. From childhood he wanted to become a dentist. His educational journey began after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Valdosta State University. He received his dental training from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in Augusta, Georgia. After graduating in 1984, he returned to South Georgia to begin private practice in Waycross.
Dr. Crummey's professional memberships include the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Georgia Dental Association (awarded Fellowship status), Satilla area Dental Society (served as President twice), Southwestern District Dental Society (served as President), Academy of General Dentistry, and Member of the Honorary Pierre Fauchard Society. He is also on staff at Satilla Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Crummey is an avid outdoorsman; he especially loves hunting and kayaking. His favorite hobby is woodworking, "I love working with my hands". He and his wife Jennifer have three children. Their family is very active in their church and Dr. Crummey has served as Chairman of Deacon and many other church committees.
